[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]The role of the City Clerk is established in the City of Beacon Charter \u00a7 C-4.04. The Clerk receives all official records of the City, records ordinances, issues licenses, etc. City of Beacon Municipal Center.<\/p>\n

Payments are accepted between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are now accepting online applications<\/strong> for dog licenses, marriage licenses, and vital records copies. Please use this link<\/a> to submit an application, and email supporting documents to records@beaconny.gov

FOIL provides a process for the review and copying of an agency’s records.<\/p>\n

Motor vehicle accident reports can be requested and obtained directly from the police department. All other requests for incident reports should use the incident report request form or our online FOIL application.<\/a><\/p>\n

There is a $40.00 fee (Payable by Discover, MasterCard, Visa, and electronic check online, or cash & check in-office).<\/p>\n

Thereafter, the following documents must be sent to\u00a0records@beaconny.gov<\/strong>: photo IDs, birth records (including parents’ names), and records as to any prior marriages and how they ended. Please note that all documentation submitted must be translated into English.<\/p>\n

The office of the City Clerk will contact you upon review to schedule a signing of your marriage license, which would then be subject to a 24-hour waiting period. After issuance, said license is valid for 60 days.<\/p>\n

Marriage License Fee: $40<\/p>\n

The City Clerk’s Office now offers one-day officiant licenses to those officiating a marriage licensed by the City of Beacon. The application<\/a> must be submitted in person and signed before the City Clerk. The fee is $25.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Dog Licensing” tab_id=”1568899984697-77d80980-ddf4″][vc_column_text css=””]All dogs, three months and older living in the City of Beacon, must be licensed with the City. Licenses are renewed on an annual basis. Dog licenses can be applied for and renewed through The City of Beacon Self-Service module<\/a>, or in-office. If applying online, all required documentation should be sent to records@beaconny.gov .\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
