{"id":10168,"date":"2020-06-22T09:25:36","date_gmt":"2020-06-22T13:25:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cityofbeacon.org\/?p=10168"},"modified":"2020-06-22T09:26:08","modified_gmt":"2020-06-22T13:26:08","slug":"independence-day-fireworks-at-dutchess-stadium","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/beaconny.gov\/index.php\/2020\/06\/22\/independence-day-fireworks-at-dutchess-stadium\/","title":{"rendered":"Independence Day Fireworks at Dutchess Stadium"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\">[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Dutchess County Government, in partnership with the Hudson Valley Renegades, Silo Ridge Field Club, the Dutchess County Fairgrounds and iHeartMedia of the Hudson Valley, will host \u201cDutchess County Goes Renegade,\u201d three free, socially distant fireworks displays around the County, open to all residents on Saturday, July 4th.<\/p>\n<p>Residents are encouraged to celebrate Independence Day by enjoying one of the three drive-in displays, which will begin promptly at 9:30 p.m. at the following venues:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li style=\"margin: 0px 0px 10.66px; color: #333333; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Dutchess Stadium, 1500 Route 9D, Wappinger<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px 0px 10.66px; color: #333333; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;\">Dutchess County Fairgrounds, 6636 Route 9, Rhinebeck<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0px 0px 10.66px; color: #333333; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;\">Silo Ridge Field Club Equestrian Center (Keane Stud), 217 Depot Hill Road, Amenia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>iHeartMedia of the Hudson Valley will host live remotes from each of the sites, broadcasting on several of its stations, and will synchronize patriotic music to the fireworks.<\/p>\n<p>Gates will open to vehicles at each location at 7:30 p.m. Parking is limited at Keane Stud (300 vehicles), <strong>Dutchess Stadium (500)<\/strong> and the Dutchess County Fairgrounds (3,000), and vehicles will be properly spaced to conform to social distancing. Residents are encouraged to arrive early at the venue of their choice to ensure a spot.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDutchess County Goes Renegade\u201d is a carry-in\/carry-out event, and residents are encouraged to bring their own snacks; alcohol will not be permitted at any of the venues.
