Beacon Launches New E-Waste Program

Starting Saturday, August 9, 2025, the City of Beacon will launch a new collection and recycling program for electronic waste (“e-waste”) at the City’s Transfer Station located at 90 Dennings Avenue. Open from 7:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, the Transfer Station will now accept certain e-waste materials at no cost to the public or City taxpayers.

The City of Beacon has partnered with a recycling company, EWASTE+, to offer this free collection program for a wide range of e-waste items. A full listing of what can and cannot be accepted can be found below.
