City of Beacon Snow Regulations

December 1, 2025
In anticipation of winter weather approaching, please review the City’s rules and regulations regarding parking and sidewalks after snowfall:
SNOW PARKING REGULATIONS: After accumulation of two inches of snow, vehicles cannot be parked on public streets between 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. and must not obstruct City snowplows from clearing the streets. Vehicles can be moved to any City public parking lot while streets are cleared, but vehicles must be moved from the lots 24 hours after the snow stops falling so the lots can be plowed.
SNOW SIDEWALK REGULATIONS: Property owners are responsible for clearing snow and ice of all sidewalks adjacent to their property within 24 hours of the snowfall ending. Please do not throw snow into the road as it is unsafe and a violation of the City Code.
Thanks for helping our hardworking highway crews to get through the anticipated storm cleanup and for ensuring our streets and sidewalks are safe for all to use.
