This is a list of food resources compiled by the Beacon Nutrition Advisory Committee. Please know that this list is the most current information we have here in Beacon.Please contact the source before attempting to utilize their resource. Information and availability may have changed since last update.

Individuals looking for assistance can call our number (845-831-1253) and set up an appointment Tuesday through Friday between 9am and 3pm.

Free Groceries Wednesdays
There will be free boxes of groceries available for pick up for anyone experiencing financial hardship this week. Participants must wear a mask during distribution.
Notes for upcoming grocery drops;

Pickup Locations;
*At Memorial Park from 9:00am-10:00am-drive through service
*At the Rec Center from 9:30am to 10:30am for pedestrians only–no car pickups please

This food is brought to you by the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley with the support of; Beacon City School District, Mutual Aid Beacon, Common Ground Farm, Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Green Teen Program, Land to Learn, and the City of Beacon.

Wednesdays July – September 5- 6pm at the Beacon Recreation Center- 23 West Center Street
Free vegetables grown by the Green Teen Program and Common Ground Farm
