Filming Activity Next Week

November 5, 2026

Please be aware that the City of Beacon will be hosting two film productions next week.

On Tuesday, November 10th, there will be filming activity on East Main Street between Main Street and Leonard Street. There will be no closure of Main Streets, and traffic in the area of impact will be intermittently available to rush hour through traffic between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m., after which time City Police Officers will be on site to help re-route traffic to nearby adjacent roadways.

Police signage for parking restrictions will be posted along that corridor, as well as on impacted side streets during the hours of production. The Churchill Street parking lot will be closed until 5:00 a.m. the following morning. Street parking for residents will remain available along Main Street or Tioronda Avenue in the meantime.

Loop Bus service may reroute to avoid the closure in the evening hours.

On Wednesdays, November 11th, there will be separate filming activity in a portion of the private parking lot between North Brett and North Walnut. Key Food Marketplace and the adjacent restaurant will remain open, as will portions of that private parking lot to visitors for parking. Public street parking will be restricted on both North Brett and North Walnut between Main Street and Church Street, with intermittent road closures after 5:00 p.m. on the North Walnut portion. City Police Officers will be on site to assist with resident access and exit during the period of impact.

There will be no impact to loop bus service associated with filming activity on the 11th. Police signage for parking restrictions will be posted in the area of impact.

Both productions will be providing letters with contact information to nearby adjacent residents and businesses that may have impacts. Please also feel free to contact the City with any concerns that arise. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
