Memorial Park RAMP skate park repair update (4/3/25)
The City of Beacon will begin rehab of the Memorial Park RAMP skate park this week.
This is the tentative timeline for work to be performed:
• April 1-10- removal of old fixtures and site prep. Work on installing new Art Wall amenity.
• April 11- repair and repaving of the skate park surface.
• April 12-14- site closed.
• April 15-18: Replacement of smaller moveable park features so that the park can be used until the new fixtures are delivered.
• June 2025- completion of Art Wall and installation of new American Ramp permanent fixtures.
In summary;
• The skate park will be closed and not useable From April 3 to April 18.
• April 18 to mid-June (date TBA) the park will be open and useable with a temporary layout.
• June 2025 will see the completion of the project with new fixtures installed.
