Final Extension to Schedule Meter Upgrade & Remove Fines (until 4:00 p.m. on 5/1/25)

April 21, 2025
First quarter water bills were sent out on April 1st and there are still customers who have not scheduled their water meter transmitter replacement. Those customers have been billed a $250.00 fine.
The City had originally allowed residents the opportunity to have this fine waived if they had scheduled an appointment to have their meter upgraded by April 21st. The City is now issuing a final extension of this deadline until 4:00 p.m. on May 1st. This will be the final extension, and afterwards fines will not be removed.
In order to qualify for having your penalty removed, call VEPO Metering to schedule an appointment to have your meter upgraded. After you have schedule an appointment, the City will remove the penalty once confirmed. Please see details in the accompanying flyer.
