Memorial Day in Beacon includes two aspects to the commemoration event run by the veterans groups. This year there will be a commemoration at Churchill Bridge (10:00 a.m.) and procession from there to the VFW (lasting 15-20 minutes). The Primary ceremony then takes place at the VFW from 11:00 – 11:45 a.m. Both portions of the event are open to the public to attend.
