Public Narcan and Stop the Bleed Training

April 1, 2022

There will be NarCan training (40 minutes long) and Stop the Bleed training (one hour long) provided by Beacon Volunteer Ambulance Corps professionals on Sat April 23, 2022. The trainings will be beginning at 1:30PM in the Veterans Memorial Building Hall, which is located at 413 Main St, Beacon (using the entrance on Teller Ave).

NarCan is used to revive a person who has overdosed on narcotics. Stop the Bleed training demonstrates the proper application of tourniquets to stop bleeding. The skills taught may be used in everyday accidents.

If you are interested in attending either or both trainings, please respond to DCORTES@Beaconvac.org no later than April 20. Age Group: Mature.
