Program Registration Dates

Registration – 1-3 days per week
• In order to accommodate as many different children and families as possible, there will be quarterly registrations for all families using the program for 1-3 days a week. If space is available, 5-day users can register as well.
ENROLLMENT IN 5 DAY PROGRAMMING IS CURRENTLY CLOSED Registration- 5 days per week-limited registration
• 5 days a week after-school program use is by lottery for all three locations.
• If your family is selected for a 5-day spot, it is yours for the full year. 5-day users will be required to make payment in full for programming quarterly.
• Anyone who does not get a spot in the lottery will be able to register through regular quarterly registrations if space is available.

• The deadline to get into the lottery is noon on Tuesday, 8/20/24.
o We will notify lottery winners by on Friday 8/23.

Tuition
o One day per week – $175.00 per session
o Two days per week – $350.00 per session
o Three days per week – $525.00 per session
o Five days per week – $875.00 per session($3500 annually)
50% of tuition is due at the time of registration. The balance must be paid in full prior to enrolling in any other programs.

Welcome to the Beacon After School Program, held in J.V. Forrestal, Sargent, South Ave. Elementary schools. This program offers more than just childcare; the program offers exposure to many different activities; an opportunity for your child to try something new or learn more about something they already enjoy. It is our goal to provide a safe and fun recreational experience to all participating children while providing an opportunity for enrichment.
Each day, the children are dismissed from their classroom directly to the program, where they have about thirty minutes of free play and a snack. From about 4:00 to 4:50 is the first activity period followed by a second fifty-minute activity period. Scheduled activities are complete around 5:45. Parents are welcome to pick their child up at any time prior to 6:00pm.
Your child may attend any number of days per week. We will have instructors for specialized activities on certain days.
There are four sessions each school year. Registration for the next session is two weeks prior to the end of the current session. There is no break in the program between sessions; we operate each day BCSD has a 3:00 dismissal.
