Overview

The Police Advisory Committee (PAC) is an ad-hoc committee created by Mayor Kyriacou in 2021 and tasked the group with working with the Police Department in matters of community safety and reform.

The Committee has focused recent meetings on the topics of youth outreach (summer academy, Dutchess country YPI program) and mental health (expanding access in the Beacon area).

 

Meetings

The PAC holds monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of each month. Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. in-person in the courtroom of 1 Municipal Plaza, Beacon, NY 12508 and are open to the public.

 

Membership

The PAC is made up of nine members from a diverse range of backgrounds and community organizations.
