Census Extended: The 2020 Census has been extended to October 5th.

Beacon could be out substantial sums of federal funds over the next 10 years if we are undercounted.
That’s because, every decade as required by the Constitution, the U.S. Census Bureau undertakes the count, and the final numbers help determine how much funding communities get for health care, road repairs, schools, and libraries.

Census workers are now going door to door to finish the count, which ends on October 5th, but you don’t have to wait. You can fill out the confidential form online in about 10 minutes or by calling 844-330-2020 for English or 844-468-2020 for Spanish. Please, help make sure Beacon is not shortchanged!
