2024 Community Investment Program
Program Description: The City of Beacon is inviting proposals for funding assistance to not-for-profit and community-based organizations for projects or initiatives which enhance the City’s quality of life and/or address critical community needs. The Community Investment Grant Program was created by the City Council and includes $20,000 as part of the 2024 City of Beacon budget. As such, funding may only be used for programs or initiatives in 2024. Funding administration will be handled by the City’s Recreation Department, with the selection of funding being awarded by the City Council. Applicants are encouraged to seek a consultation with the Recreation Director with any questions in advance of preparing their application.

The period for application runs from February 5, 2024 to March 11, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. Applications can be submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or in person at the Beacon Recreation Center, 23 West Center Street, Beacon, NY 12508.
Notification of award will be made in April or May 2024.
