The City of Beacon has partnered with Mid-Hudson Energy Transition to offer a “community solar” opportunity that allows eligible households to save 10% on electric bills while supporting development solar energy in our region. If you are in an eligible area of Beacon, you will be receiving a letter detailing how this program works and where to sign up to begin saving money on your bill. A copy of what this letter looks like, along with answers to frequently answered questions, can be found below.
